The Bar Top show went off very well with 30 vases on display. The quality was exellent with John Swift winning the best vase with Doreen Statham.

Not a lot happening this week and I have taken the opportunity to sit down and analyse the season. It has been dissapointig mainly becuase:
a) The lateness of the season and
b) I have tried to do too many experiments

...so its back to basics for next year with less varieties.

Don't forget that most of the shows are at least 6 days later than this year. I have already cut down 2/3 of the plants so the staging will be going up next.
