6th May 2008

I have finished potting into 5" so there is a week or so rest before I start potting into finals.
Doesn't time fly it is a year since the Diary first surfaced.
This week I have stopped half of Olwyn and Yellow Olwyn as well as my Fairweather and Twyford Gold.
The auricular and streptocarpus seeds that I bought at Harrogate have not as yet come through.Neither have the lily bulbs.
Just another word of caution re Jenton. I spoke to Ken Dear yesterday and he suggests that you do not use it until you have secured the bud. As an alternative he alternates between Systhane and 945 to keep rust under control. He tells me that actually 945 is recommended by the M of A as the preferred spray for rust.
Well I'm just going to proof read the North West Counties schedule prior to printing. It's our meeting next wednesday
