Continued to pot into 5" pots from 31/2. These were put into 31/2 on 3/3 so not many to go. I stopped half of my Yellow Olwyn today with the other half to be stopped on 21/5. I am trying Barrie Machin's countback system using leaf counts etc. If anyone wants me to explain it send me an e-mail and I'II have a go!!
The greenfly spray worked thankfully so I hope that thats the end of them.
The Northern Group did very well at Harrogate last week selling in excess of 2000 plants. There was some good quality stuff on sale.
Whilst there I bought some Streptocarpus seeds Auricula seeds Lilies I am a sucker for punishment.
Just a word of warning if anyone out there has bought Jenton, be careful, my mate Roger has sprayed his plants with it and it has affected the growing tips so I would suggest that instead of 1ml to a litre you use 3/4 ml to a litre and try to avoid the growing point.
