Took another 70 cuttings today. They were Kay Woolman 3 of the Hughes family namely the parent primrose and cream, rose and cerise Pat Millar, Amber Olwyn, Woolmans Venture and Grace Holden. it was absolutely freezing in the Greenhouse.
I have taken down the muslin above the stools and cuttings to let more light in.
Yesterday I went to watch Scunthorpe play Man City so i called in to see Mick Graves. He has already got a lot potted into 31/2 pots with many more in to root. They are looking well.
Ken Harrop has asked me to put the following event in the Diary.
Tomorrow Tuesday the Chrysanthemum Direct Company are giving a lecture at Denton Conservative Club on Manchester Rd Denton.It starts at 8.00 with admission and refreshments free. It should be a good night. They are the Company that puts on displays at all the major shows and have just moved into selling Exhibition blooms.
Last but not least if John Marshall from the High Wycombe Society reads this could he ring me on 01422822699
