I judged Middleton on Friday with Ken Harrop. A good show. Pictures are in the photo section of my website.
It took us longer than normal to get to the National on Thursday night ,we arrived at 9.10.I then spent the next 2 hours dressing 4 Olwyn of Johns for the League and the Francis Parry. We left just after 12.00 and i managed to get to bed for 2.40.
On Saturday I picked up John at 10.00 looking forward to an all day breakfast when we arrived only to find that the M6 was closed Junction 15 to 14.14 is the junction for Stafford. A journey that normally takes 11/2 hours took over 3. Never mind the the end result was worth waiting for as the Society had won the League beating Northwich by a staggering 61 points.
There was a total of 7 Societies which was up on previous years. In the Francis Parry Swansea again beat us into second place.
This week sees us at North West Counties for the Tuesday show before preparing for Sowerby Bridge Show on Saturday.
