I have just ordered some muslin from Paul Barlow. It costs £13 per 10 metres.
I have sprayed for MILDEW this week. You can either use SYSTHANE or FUNGUS FIGHTER. All my Earlies are in the Greenhouse and its looking pretty full as can be seen from the picture. As my plants are 3 rows deep I find it difficult to water so use a piece of drainpipe and pour water down it into the back pots. It saves all the crawling about on hands and knees.
If you are having trouble with EARWIGS either put some VASELINE around the necks (the judges aren't keen so wipe it off before you show) or pour some 3 in 1 oil down the canes.
I can also be seen in the greenhouse at night without the light but with a torch in one hand and a pair of tweezers in the other.
My Roy Coopland don't look very good this year so I have given them a teaspoon of dry Chempak No 2 not the liqiud.

It's not good news. I was away on holiday and she went over the top. Oh dear!
