10th September 2007
Hectic weekend. John and I went to Stafford on Friday night to stage the 6 flowers in the league class.

We did reasonably well, finishing 4th out of 6 at our first attempt.
Saturday morning saw me at Woodley with a few exhibits, did ok, no world beaters.
Got one first, 3 seconds and 2 thirds, with various bits and pieces i.e Cacti, Spray chrysanths, dahlias and a gladioli. From there I went to judge at Timperly (see photos section) Came home to water at home and the allotment. Then went back to Woodley to see how I had done(results above). Trish and I went down to Stafford (Early National) on Sunday Morning (see photos section for the winners) and then back home. I've got an odd one or two showing colour, which is a little early. I am looking forward to judging the Northern Group show at Harrogate on Friday before exhibiting at North West Counties at Bury on Tuesday.
