23rd July 2007

Shows a packet of sequestrene plant tonic. All plants get 1/2 pint of the solution and it gives the plants a dose of iron which helps the plants grow better.

A flower of Joyce Frieda which is an Early Incurve. It was taken into the greenhouse when it started showing colour last week. It should be at its best back end of August.

All the Lates have been in the pots for more than 6 weeks so when it comes to watering they will all get Chempak 20 20 20 at every watering or Chempak no. 1 (dry) every Monday depending upon the weather.

On a slightly different note i spent Monday and Tuesday last week helping Anne Brook and Mike Higgins put up the N.C.S. display at R.H.S. show at Tatton Park.
